Tuition & Scholarships

AUAF welcomes new and existing partners who are interested in funding student scholarships!
The American University of Afghanistan is a private not‐for‐profit institution. The U.S. Government and other outside donors contribute to the cost of AUAF’s operations.

Tuition & Fees

At this time, all students who apply to study at AUAF are automatically considered for scholarships that may partially or fully pay for tuition, based on their application materials. Scholarships are never guaranteed and are subject to both AUAF discretion and the availability of funds.

For the 2026-2027 academic year, please refer to the amounts* below.
