AUAF Joins with Kabul in Sheltering in Place
As Kabul takes further steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19, AUAF senior leadership met with students who have opted to remain on campus through the shut-down period. President Sedney invited all students to an outdoor meeting with everyone masked in accordance with health and safety protocols. He discussed the implications of the shut-down, noting that information about the virus is being updated daily and that the length of the shut-down will depend on multiple factors. He encouraged all students to stay focused on their academic work and to use this opportunity to expand their intellects. He also used the occasion to deliver the good news that AUAF is already planning for summer and Fall 2020 courses. Check out the academic calendar for those next sessions now on-line.
