STUDENT LIFE AT THE AUAF

AUAF provides many opportunities for students to become involved and engaged in the University.  From student organizations to student government, opportunities for engagement abound.  If you cannot find a club, sport, or other organization to be involved with you are encouraged to get a few of your friends together and start a new club it is that easy.  The Office of Student Affairs oversees many aspects of Student Life at AUAF.

Student Government

The American system of education encourages establishment of a student council to ensure student representation on campus.  As an elected body, the AUAF Student Council articulates student views and interests, ensuring that students have a voice in formulating university priorities and policies, and providing a structure for greater student involvement on campus. The Director of Student Affairs and/or his appointee advises the Student Council.

Student Organizations

Student-sponsored organizations enrich student experience, allowing them to pursue their personal interests outside the classroom.  They are an integral part of the learning process. Interest-oriented clubs represent the diversity of professional and extracurricular interests and cultural backgrounds in the AUAF community.  AUAF encourages participation in student organizations and the formation of organizations/clubs that promote student interests and hobbies.  For complete information about starting your own organization please see the Office of Student Affairs at AUAF.

Student Activities
