Registration, Drops and Withdrawals
As with many processes at the University a process has been established through the registrar’s office for registration, dropping a class, and overall school withdrawal. Students should consult with the Office of the Registrar for such procedures.
Prior withdrawing from a class or from the University, a student should consult with their faculty and their individual academic advisor. Students should also consult the academic calendar as to the financial liabilities. If only after such consultations the student, faculty member, and advisor decide that dropping is the only solution available, should the student decide to withdraw. The procedure for individual class and overall student withdrawal begins with the Registrar. The necessary procedures and forms are available from that office. Until the forms have been complete and successfully turned in to the Office of the Registrar a student is still considered to be enrolled in the class and/or University.
