AUAF Mounts Fundraiser in Washington D.C.

AUAF will kick off a series of awareness and fundraising events in Washington D.C. on 16 June 2008.

The events are intended to promote awareness about the evolution of education in Afghanistan, and to garner financial support for AUAF.

Financial support from private sources will enable qualified and deserving Afghan students to work towards an undergraduate degree at AUAF, will aid professors by providing them with increased teaching resources, and will help build a spacious and modern university campus in the heart of Kabul.

The events will be held in conjunction with the Afghanistan: Hidden Treasures from the National Museum, Kabul exhibit, which is traveling to four cities in the US.
