AUAF Professional Development Institute Launches New Courses

The recently-established Professional Development Institute celebrated the launching of three new courses this week, with another to follow on 4 November 2007.

"These courses mark the emergence of PDI as a significant new player on the training landscape in Afghanistan." remarked the Director of the Professional Development Institute, Mr. Obaid Adnan Nejati.

Of the four courses, three are for corporate clients such as the World Bank and Roshan, while one is a scheduled course open to the public.

The Professional Development Institute offers classes in four "clusters": Business Communications, Management Information Systems, Organization and Management, and Capacity Development. Each cluster includes a number of courses that can be tailored to an organization or offered as scheduled courses that individuals can apply to directly.

Established in September 2007, the Professional Development Institute offers an array of high-impact, high-value training courses, workshops and seminars to professionals from the private sector, non-governmental organizations working in Afghanistan and the region, and governmental bodies.

For more information on course offerings, contact the Institute directly.
