AUAF acquires POWERCampus UDC

This week AUAF announced the acquisition of a significant new software package, POWERCampus Unified Digital Campus, from SunGard Higher Education. The software package will help AUAF meet its students’ administrative needs quickly and easily.

The acquisition of POWERCampus UDC illustrates AUAF’s leadership in providing high-quality, education for students in Afghanistan. "The American University of Afghanistan is bringing world-class education to Afghanistan’s future leaders," said AUAF President, Dr. Tom Stauffer.

The PowerCAMPUS UDC is a Microsoft-based, comprehensive administrative system that will streamline admissions, academic records, advancement, finance, and portal needs, making it faster and easier for the University to meet its goals for growth while providing students the means to access important information about their education. Eventually students will be able to use the system to apply online. In subsequent phases of the project, AUAF will use PowerCAMPUS to help track the progress of students and manage the delivery of academic programs.
