Classes cancelled in commemoration of bombing victims

AUAF has cancelled all scheduled classes for 8 November 2007 in commemoration of those affected by the tragic bombing in Baghlan City on 6 November 2007.

"The thoughts of the staff, faculty, and students of the American University of Afghanistan are with the victims and their families at this time," said Dr. Frank Petrella, Dean of Academic Affairs.

The Government of Afghanistan has declared three days of mourning in honor of the victims.

Classes are expected to resume on Sunday, 11 November 2007.
