As Afghanistan's only private, not-for-profit university, the American University of Afghanistan welcomes financial and in kind contributions to assist the institution in meeting its goal of providing a high quality, accessible education.

Areas of particular need lie in scholarship support for deserving students and assistance in continuing to build the university's 80-acre International Campus. 

How can you help? 

Contributions can be made through the Friends of the American University of Afghanistan.

Other donations can be made through consultation with the university. We invite you to consult directly with the university president, Dr. C. Michael Smith.
