Foundation Studies Program

FOUNDATION STUDIES PROGRAM

The Foundation Studies Program provides students with the appropriate skills in English to succeed in English-only instruction in their undergraduate programs. Following an entrance assessment, prospective students are assigned to one of three levels. These correspond approximately to intermediate, upper intermediate, and advanced.

 Students follow an intensive program of 20 hours per week for 16 weeks, followed by an examination to assess their readiness to move upward within the program or to move on to their majors.
