The Library Catalog

  1. To use the library catalog, go to this link: http://librarycat.auaf.edu.af.

2.   At the right corner of your browser, you’ll see the Login and Password boxes.

3.   Your Login is your ID Number (for example 12345), and your primary password is “library”.

4.   After signing in, change your password.

EBSCO Host

1.   To use EBSCO Host, go to this link:  http://librarycat.auaf.edu.af.

2.   At the right middle of your browser, you will see the EBSCO Host link.  Click on it.

3.   If you are on campus, you will automatically be directed to the EBSCO database.

4.   If you are off-campus, enter your username and password.

5.   Your Login is the last 4 digits of your ID Number (for example 1234).

6.   Your primary password is Ebsco11”.

5.   After signing in, change your password.

JSTOR

1.    To use JSTOR, go to this link: http://librarycat.auaf.edu.af.

2.    At the right middle of your browser, you will see the JSTOR link. Click on it.

3.    For JSTOR, if you are on campus there is no password.

4.    To use JSTOR off campus, contact  Ann Marsh, the Library Director.

How to Print a Class Schedule to Obtain Textbook(s)

1. Go to the link below and enter your student username and password.

www.secure.it.auaf.edu.af

2. After signing in, click on the Classes button on the top screen.

3. Then, go to the Schedule page.

4. After that, click on the Student Schedule badge.

5. Select the TEXT FORMAT of your schedule.  DON’T select the GRID FORMAT!

 6. We DO NOT issue any textbooks to Unregistered Students or those who are on the Waiting List.
