The American University of Afghanistan offers a tuition rebate to students of the Foundation Studies Program who go on to enroll in the Undergraduate Program.
In effect, this means that half the amount spent on tuition while in the Foundation Studies Program will be discounted from tuition while in the Undergraduate Program.
How does it work?
After having attended the Foundation Studies Program, students who are admitted into the Undergraduate Program and who are registered for more than two courses per semester are eligible to receive a rebate of 50% of tuition paid while attending the Foundation Studies Program. This rebate will be applied over the first two semesters of attendance in the Undergraduate Program.
For example, if a student pays 75,000 AFS in tuition for the Foundation Studies Program, that student will have half that amount (37,500 AFS) deducted from their tuition during their first two semesters as an undergraduate student.
Students admitted on probation are also eligible for this rebate program. The rebate applies only to actual tuition paid, excluding the portion covered by tuition discounts.
Applicants and current students in the Foundation Studies Program who are qualified to attend either the Intermediate or Bridge Levels are both eligible for tuition assistance.
