A new faculty office building was completed on the current campus and faculty began moving in on August 16.  The new building contains 24 modern offices for faculty members teaching in the university's undergraduate program.  The new building positions the university to support the staff required to teach the 800 or more students expected to enroll by the end of the academic year.

Four students and a graduate of the university's 10,000 Women program represented AUAF in Washington at a fundraising event for the Laura Bush Women's Resource Center.  The Washington Post published a glowing account of the event and praised the students who represented the university so well.  See the Washington Post article at:
